Slow refuelling

I have a 2006 Bayliner 195 and filling the gas tank is really slow. If I try to fill fast, the fuel comes back up. I saw that both the fill and vent hoses are at the back of the tank. When the boat is on the trailer, the front is higher, so fuel blocks the hoses and builds pressure.

Can I move the vent hose to the front? It's under the floor, so I'm not sure how hard that is to do.

I think you should be able to reroute the vent forward, but it's a pain since the hoses run under the deck. It'd be easier to lower the tongue when fueling or slow fill

In all you do anyway, make sure it still vents above the fuel line and slopes toward the fill so fuel doesn't pool in it, use a vent line fitting up front instead of rerouting the whole hose

I'm guessing you'll need to start removing the floor and reroute the hose. Just to ask, any specific reason why you want to refuel quickly? How long does it take you without seeing some spillage? 10 minutes?
