I'm considering taking a weekend trip on my Bayliner 185 this spring, but the cabin hatch really lets in a lot of bugs. Has anyone put in screens or come up with DIY ideas to keep mosquitoes out while still allowing for some airflow? I'd really appreciate any tips before we head out for our first overnight adventure

Lovely weekend idea! It seems bugs are a common issues on older hatches! I've seen someone used a simple roll of screen material and some magnetic tape from a hardware store. It looked to be a practical, quick and cheap fix that holds up surprisingly well! Have you also thought about bringing a small fan to help with air circulation in the cabin?
