I've been thinking a lot lately about upgrading my setup , really wanna move to a dual prop system and finally have trim and tilt. It would make handling so much smoother, especially in rougher water or when docking. I've got an older Bayliner 2252 Ciera with the original 225D engine, and while its been reliable, i'm wondering if that motor has enough power to handle a dual prop setup. Do you think it could handle the load, or would that be pushing it too far? Also, is there a relatively easy swap path for the outdrive to something with trim/tilt and dual prop, like a Volvo DuoProp or a newer Bravo setup?

Yeah man, if you're rocking that old 225D, you might be pushing it with a dual prop, those setups want more grunt. A Bravo swap could work, but it ain't exactly plug n play.
