Looking at a 30 year old Bayliner with twin Cummins 250 HP diesels. I love the boat layout, we used to charter this same model each summer when our kids were small. I'm concerned about buying a 30 year old boat. Will it be just problem after problem and bust out another thousand time and time again? What's your experience with older Bayliner boats? Another concern is that it does not have radar or autopilot. Can anyone venture a guess on the cost of these items? I feel that if a boat does not have radar and autopilot it's simply a day boat and not for overnight multiday cruising. Thanks!
